Jimmy Fallon, Thou Art Devine

Remember that one episode of Family Guy where Peter made fun of Jimmy Fallon for laughing during every sketch he was in on SNL? And then everybody else sort of latched on to that and began hating him for it? And sometimes the insults grew especially nasty, and for no real reason whatsoever? Yeah, that was bullshit.

Do people not understand that Jimmy Fallon laughing all the time is part of his appeal? That it makes him look, and sound, like he’s having a great time doing what he loves? I can see why it would turn some people off and be seen as unprofessional, but more times than not, someone’s laughter inspires others to laugh. It’s why people love blooper reels, and it’s 90 percent of the reason stoners exist: to laugh at themselves and their equally giggly friends.

Oh, and remember how much everybody hated Fallon’s late night show when it debuted, and only because he was replacing the beloved Conan? The same show which is now seen as one of the better ones, at least in terms of ratings? Yeah, how’s that hate workin’ out for ya, haters? Fuck with Fallon all you want, shit on him all you please, but he is utterly un-shit-on-able.

Plus he has epic hair. Just thought I’d throw that in there.
